On January 14th to 15th, the NCS Workshop for Career Exploration was held in Veritas Building 106 by the Institute of Career Development from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. On the 14th, the event was open to first year students, and on the 15th it was open to second and third year students. Choi Seonghee, team leader of the Institute of Career Development, expressed here delight at the enthusiasm students showed by their active participation in the Workshop: “Students benefited greatly from the event and we did our best to ensure that they would gain much from participating. Still, we hope all students realize that if they fail to do their best, they will not reap the rewards gained from the workshop.” The event consisted of four sessions that provided information on NCS. The sessions were on the topics of job base ability, job roleplay, and job design. Cho Eunbee, a student in the Department of Food & Nutrition ’14 said, “I was really impressed by the job roleplay session at the workshop. The indirect work experience activities taught me how difficult the real business world is.” Events like the NCS Workshop for Career Exploration are held each vacation season by the Institute of Career Development.
