A tweet by Eric Nam claims phrases like “Thank You” and “I Love You” are meaningless unless spoken.  Since joining The Sookmyung Times, I too, have been guilty of making those phrases meaningless.  Throughout my two year span with SMT, I’ve met so many people, but rarely outwardly expressed my gratitude.  I am truly grateful enough to have worked with Professor, Matilda Krivan and Sookmyung Women’s University administrative personnel.  Without their help and encouragement, I would have never been able to keep my deadlines for The Sookmyung Times.  I am also thankful to all of the interviewees I’ve met over the years.  I’ve learnt that there are diverse ways of obtaining one’s goals, so I’m headed down my own path rather than following those of others.  I cannot leave SMT without saying thank you to fellow SMT reporters: Chun Heejin, the editor-in-chief when I joined SMT, Oh Jieun, Oh Sumin, Park Sieun, Kim Jieun, Kim Hyuna, Lee Hyebin, Shin Woohyun, Song Heejeong, Kim Jihyun, and Kim Taeeun.  Again, thank you all.  It is from you that I learnt journalistic writing, the spirit to keep fighting, various views of the world, and so on.  I will cherish all my moments with SMT reporters.  Lastly, I’d like to voice my appreciation to the readers of SMT, for without you, there would be no The Sookmyung Times.  Thank you for your continuous patronage and following my journey and development in article writing over the years.  I am pleased you’ve enjoyed my stories.  I wish for your steadfast interest in SMT.
It has now come to be the article containing a phrase I've dreamt of speaking since entering SMT two years ago.  Every time I imagined completing my last article, I thought I would be happy and not at all sad.  However, now I am filled with mixed emotions of both happiness and sadness all at the same time.  It is hard to believe that this is my final article.  These are my final words

“In case I don’t see ya.  Good afternoon, Good evening, and Good night1), my beloved SMT!”
