Oh Kim Youbin / Cub Reporter / smt_kyb@sookmyung.ac.kr

Hello, this is Kim Youbin, new SMT cub reporter.  Let me begin by saying how glad I am to meet you as a reporter of The Sookmyung Times.  Although I am new, I promise to learn and grow through SMT.  Based on that learning, I plan to write articles related to sports, overseas trips, and informative pieces about school events and various off -campus activities for Sookmyungians.  It’s my hope that you fall in love with all the articles new SMT reporters will write.  Thank you.

‘Young man, make your name worth something.’  This is a famous quote by Andrew Carnegie.  I spent my entire 2017 studying with those words in mind, and the time has finally come for me to make them a reality.  For SMT, I’ll be in charge of reporting on a various topics.  Those articles will bear my name, so I’ll make sure they are worthy of it.  I expect the work to be hard, but I believe I will overcome all hardships and finally reach my goal: ‘Change the world by writing’.  Please keep an eye on my articles.  Thank you.

Kim Lee Daye / Cub Reporter / smt_kdy@sookmyung.ac.kr

I am grateful to have been selected as a reporter with The Sookmyung Times.  I wanted to be a part of the magazine even before I officially got an admissions letter from Sookmyung Women's University.  Before entering Sookmyung Women’s University, I worked in the press corps.  I realized then that the most important aspect of journalistic writing is honesty, so I promise to provide readers with the truthful and fair articles.  Through The Sookmyung Times, I also plan to introduce my hometown of Gimpo to our readers, and I will write interview articles carried out with alumni from the various areas of life sciences.  I promise to work at my full potential for The Sookmyung Times.

Kim Ma Seunghee / Cub Reporter / smt_msh@sookmyung.ac.kr

Immediately after entering Sookmyung Women’s University, I learned about The Sookmyung Times and was eager to be a part of it since I’d always dreamt of writing articles that could change the world.  SMT gives me the opportunity.  There are so many things to learn as a cub reporter, but for now I’m excited just to be a part of the SMT press.  I’m also nervous at the same time because it is a new challenge and it holds a lot of responsibility.  I’ll do my best to share issues on campus and write well-balanced, critical, and honest articles with my fellow cub reporters.  Please keep an eye out for our articles.

Park Kim Yujin / Cub Reporter / smt_kyj@sookmyung.ac.kr

I’ve always dreamt of joining SMT, and it’s finally happened.  I’m now an official cub reporter of The Sookmyung Times.  I’m so grateful to The Sookmyung Times for recognizing my passion to be a part of the team and to write for SMT subscribers.  I’m really eager to write articles that deal with Sookmyungian interests as well as issues that are socially problematic.  I promise all Sookmyungians and the SMT staff to work hard for the magazine.  See you in my article!

Kim Shin Hyerin / Cub Reporter / smt_shr@sookmyung.ac.kr

Glad to meet you.  I’m Shin Hyerin, 86th cub reporter of The Sookmyung Times.  As newbie, I feel a heavy responsibility and burden to perform well.  As a cub reporter, I promise to deliver the core content of my message with powerful, fair intent.  I hope to introduce readers to a diversity of views surrounding social problems and give you a chance, as you reader, to consider them critically.  Please look forward to my growth as a reporter.  Thank you.
