During the winter vacation, there was a Freshmen Orientation Program with subject, ‘What is your S?  Your Pride, Sookmyung Women’s University.’  This program was held from February 18 to 23 and each college took it for three days.

First day, orientation program was held in the Campus hosted by SMU.  In this program, departments such as Student Culture and Welfare, Office of Social Services andStudentServiceCenter delivered useful detailed information which Sookmyungians must know.  During the program, NiViS, a cheerleading squad of SMU, appeared and created a pleasant atmosphere.  Second and last day program was progressed inSMUYonginTrainingCenter hosted by each college.  In this program, freshmen met same major seniors, professors and friends and became closer with them.  Also, freshmen had a time to be aware more about their major.

This year, 2,278 students participated in the Freshmen Orientation Program and stepped forward as a pre-Sookmyungians.
