In a word, how would you describe your fashion style?
I guess ‘confidence’ and ‘diversity’. When I choose my outfit suited with the mood of the day, I feel confident and get emotionally satisfied. And this leads me to take extra special care of myself. I especially love the style of Japanese actress Aoi Yu, but I don’t stick with only one style. My outfits are changed according to the mood each day, sometimes being pleasantly plain, and sometimes being flashy.
What did you aim for when choosing your outfit today?
Is there any special reason for wearing the modernized hanbok? Today, I tried to make full use of matching colors. For example, I blended my scarlet dress with coral makeup. The key is to find colors that suit one’s skin complexion. And, about hanbok, people generally view hanbok as clothing worn only on national holidays or special occasions. However, the modernized version which is as comfortable as to wear in daily life appeals to me. Since this is an English magazine, I hope I inspire both Korean and foreign students to recognize true charm of hanbok.
