The 102nd anniversary of the founding of SMU was held in the Samsung Convention Hall of Centennial Hall on May 21. It started at 11 A.M. and it lasted for about three hours and half. Our most seniors alumni visited SMU, which is their alma mater, to celebrate birthday of school. They are about 50 years senior and have make big contributions up to now, so President Kyungsook Lee expressed appreciation for their hard work. "We had make an effort to build the best campus in the world and we finally did it. It's priceless. SMU indebted to you, all of Sookmyungians, for what SMU is. So I want to say 'thank you' for supporting with faith. And from now on, we are going to keep working up to globerize the S-Leadership and make SMU as cradle of S-Leadership for our goal, fostering women to be leader. We will live up to your expectations. Thank you." Later there was also an award and commendation ceremony to recognize seniors graduates' distinguished service. After the big celebrations, there were luncheon parties at which everyone had a comfortable time engaging in animated conversation.
