On August 25, the commencement ceremony for the academic year of the latter 2007 was held in the Grand Auditorium, SMU. 604 students who took master's degrees graduated from SMU on this day. This was also the last commencement ceremony for President Kyungsook Lee who will resign from SMU after completing her term on September 2008.
President Kyungsook Lee addressed the students. She said, "The end is another start. Let me emphasize three important values for you who will keep going for new achievements - set clear goals, be positive and jump over the limits and respect others and I hope you spread S Leadership like the snowflake, the symbol of SMU, which gives people a sense of pleasure."
