In the last summer vacation, I traveled to Siem Reap in Cambodia. I had a chance to visit lots of places of historic interest. Among them, the most impressive relic is Bayon Temple. There, I found the great smile. The smiling face on the Bayon is remaining in my memories. He smiled to see me. His smile is very gentle and peaceful so when I was watching him my face also was lit up by a smile. At the same time, I felt all my anxiety blow away. I would like to talk about ‘Smile.’ In this month, Sookmyungians are going to take a mid-term exam. I often see some students who are very sensitive during exam period. I can understand their feeling because I am also stressful at this time when students have to do lots of reports, presentations and materials to study. However, let’s smile more as we are in a hard time.
Smile. Your smile is a messenger of your goodwill. Your smile brightens the lives of all who see it. To someone who has seen a dozen people frown, scowl or turn their faces away, your smile is like the sun breaking through the clouds.

Through your smile, someone will be happy. Then we can make a warming atmosphere on campus. I hope you will overcome lots of assignments, and be well-prepared for the mid-term exams with a smile. Good luck this month!
