On November 5, a leadership special lecture of President Young Sil Han was held at Queen Sunheon Building room 511. The lecture’s subject was ‘Women who open the future.’  President Han lectured about women’s power and the leading part Sookmyungians have to play to make gender equality realized in the world.  Also, President Han said, “I like butterflies because caterpillars became butterflies through much hardship.  You are caterpillars.  You can become real butterflies after casting your skin with a lot of efforts.  I and Sookmyung Women’s University (SMU) help that.” President Han advised based on her experience that women should endeavor themselves to become the main current of the world and work hard giving body and soul continually.  “I can know how I do as a twenty-first century woman from advice of SMU’s senior and President and I want to be a gorgeous woman to be affected by President’s sprit” said Min Kyungjin, who delivered ‘welcoming writings’ to President Han and is an undergraduate in the Division of Mathematics and Statistics 09’.
