Sookmyung Women’s University (SMU) held an entrance ceremony in Olympic Hall for celebrating new Sookmyungians. Freshmen were excited about new university life and freedom. Their parents came to watch the ceremony and children’s new start as a university student. NiViS (a SMU’s cheering squad) powerfully started the ceremony with their cheering dance and fascinated all students. After NiVis performance, President Young Sil Han and all professors entered the hall and Ambassador (Sookmyung Student Ambassador) holding a flag of each college marched in grand style. President Young Sil Han addressed a concept, vision and future of SMU and showed a great welcome to new Sookmyungians. After making a speech, new Sookmyungians raised their right hands and swore to be be new member of SMU. And President Young Sil Han declared Blue Reborn project of SMU which means re-borning SMU. In the last ceremony, many performances were prepared to perk up the Sookmyungians and celebrate new beginning of theirs.
