This Is Not the End

It’s already June, the last month of this term. I will leave the Sookmyung Times (SMT) after this semester. This is my last letter so I brainstormed desperately for the topic of this letter. However, it was not easy to find an interesting topic in spite of this. I am finishing my work as a reporter in SMT after three years. However, I don’t think this is the end. Based on the experience of reporters, I will move forward into a broader world. Winston Churchill said, “This is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning." Like this, we will always make an effort in every moment and look to the next step. So, I am going to have a new start in my next chapter of my life. In July, I will go to a university in England to attend an exchange program for one year. I expect to have a great life and learn lots of things in a new world. Sookmyungians, I hope you also finish this term strongly and take a leap to a new beginning. This is the first day of the rest of your life. Start strong! I wish you all the best.
