At the end of February, there were two big ceremonies for alumnae and freshman.

The ceremony for conferment of a degree was held on February 23.   Most professors distributed diplomas and prizes, and all alumnae wore special caps and gowns.

A 2007 entrance ceremony was held on February 28.  It began with a special address by President Kyungsook Lee who welcomed all new students.  In the entrance ceremony, 2,278 freshman attended.  They promised to undertake the responsibilities of a Sookmyungians and to work toward a fulfilling campus life with a new spirit and readiness of mind.
