From October 15, 2009 to November, 30, special bequest exhibition of Poongsan Hong’s Family is held in Sookmyung Women’s University Museum (SUM). The Hong of Poongsan is the family who born the Hye Kyung Goong Hong as the crown consort in Joseon dynasty, the mother of King Jeongjo. Also the Hong of Poongsan related by marriage to King Gojong and Queen Sunheon who built SMU. The Hong of Poongsan primarily donated many antiques to SUM. In the exhibition, like composition written, the autograph of the King Jeongjo, bequests related royal is centered. In addition, like in Joseon and Heukchilham, accessories for noblewomen are also displayed. Through this exhibition, visitors can feel the culture of royal and the upper classes in Joseon Dynasty.
