On May 8, there was a writing contest for the students of Sookmyung afterschool program at SMU. Every May, seven institutes and Sookmyung University Knowledge Volunteer (SUKV) hold this event. The subject of the this year was ‘Dream.’ First, students of after-school program were hesitated to do it, but with some helps from the members of SUKV, they could think about their dreams and write it down. The leader of a group, Kim Se Hee, a junior from the Department of Public Relations & Advertising said, “Teaching a knowledge related to each subject is important, but I think finding out what they really want to be and setting their own ways toward their dreams are more important. I hope that all students can make decisions about what to do for their dreams.” For this reason, SUKV will hold other events such as visiting Career Fair to give some information to the students of Sookmyung after-school program.
