On July 11 and 12, the united training of SMU Leadership groups was held at Elysian resort in Kangchon. This training was held by the Student Culture and Welfare team for sharing SMU’s vision, forming bonds and creating synergy. After a special lecture given by Dean Kim Hyunsook, 71 executives from 23 leadership groups led various workshops. In the process of doing each workshop, they made teams and did enjoyable activities, such as making an SMU commercial, erecting vision towers with paper, and role play. Jang Goeun in SM Cultural Ambassador, freshman English major said, “I could meet many seniors and find out about various groups I didn’t know well before through this training. It was hardto meet freshmen like me because it was for executives of leadership groups. However, because many seniors advised me with their experience on how to lead a group, this training was very meaningful for me.” Through this 2nd United Training of SMU leadership groups, students had a good experience to make new bonds and develop their leadership skills.
