A new app has emerged to replace the "Smart Sookmyung" one previously used by SMWU students. "Hey Young Campus" is the first mobile service exclusively for college students promoted by Shinhan Bank in the financial sector. The app issues mobile student cards by using QR, NFC, and beacon-based electronic ID functions. It provides various in-school services such as grades, timetables, and academic schedules, which are major academic functions that have previously only been provided in the PC version of the Sookmyung Portal. Through the "Academic Administration" banner in the app, users can check academic records, classes, registration/scholarship, grades, graduation, the student president election, and university information, etc. In particular, "Class" allows them to simulate lecture schedules, share friends' schedules, and check class evaluation. And "university information" has a useful function that allows users to search for the numbers or SNS links of each school department. In addition, users can easily connect to Snowboard, Snoway, and the Central Library through the "Major Site" banner, and they can also check out the cafeteria's menu and events in "Additional Services." Moreover, there is a 'shaking' function, and if a user selects the desired function between a mobile student card and an electronic attendance, it can be used whenever one opens the app and shakes the phone. The app is also used to enter the library. Since February 21, SMWU has allowed undergraduates, graduate students, and faculty to use the "Hey Young Campus" when entering, borrowing books, and assigning seats and study rooms in the library. However, graduates, and short-term course students must use the "Sookmyung Women's University Central Library" as before. More details can be found on the website of the Central Library. Meanwhile, the "Hey Young Campus" app is also holding events for freshmen and students until April 30 to celebrate the new launch of the app, and many Sookmyungians are expected to use it actively.
