Spring has come, and the number of sleepy Sookmyungians is increasing every day. For these sleeping Sookmyung beauties, the 40th Student Government, MUV, launched a campaign to settle this symptom. An outdoor café was held on April 3, a windy sunny day, in front of Queen Sunheon Building . At this café, MUV distributed cups of herb tea and masks, and also sold sweet muffins for 1,000 won each. In addition, Snowflake, Sookmyung Women’s University’s mascot, appeared at the café and made the students laugh. Kim Se Hee, the president of MUV, the 40th student Government, said that, “The outdoor café plan was one of our electoral commitments. But the ultimate purpose of this plan is to make the communication place between the students and MUV. Also we planned this outdoor café project to solve students’ spring effort syndrome. Although we experienced bad weather, we know many students’ opinions the completed through questionnaires in the outdoor café. We are open every other Wednesday." The response to this project was good. Moon So-hee, a student in the Division of Chemistry, said, “You know that today is a little bit cold. Because of the weather, I think that distributing cups of herb tea is a good idea.” Another student, Jang Yoon-jeong, said “I especially like the mask. I heard on the news that today it will be a high level of yellow dust. These products are well-suited to this weather.”
