RAIW are registered at SSCI

In October 2008, the Research Institute of Asian Women (RIAW), established by Sookmyung Women’s University, was recognized as an international specialty scientific journal and registered with the SSCI (Social Science Citation Index). Scientific journals registered at SSCI are accepted as international authorities in their field of expertise. Moreover, recently, achievements recorded in the SSCI have become crucial data for grading universities and faculties. Accordingly, the RIAW, established with the SSCI, is expected to contribute to Sookmyung’s development. The RIAW was founded in 1960 to raise women’s status and improve their rights. It is charging the hub of women research centers while promoting publications about women’s problems, symposiums, and international academic exchange.
