The School of Global Service, newly founded by SMU in 2010, made a good start to welcome its 43 new students. The school is determined to separate into two departments: Global Cooperation and Entrepreneurship. Briefly, the school of Global Service aims toward educating from a different curriculum from that of the departments of international studies at other universities. The Department of Global Cooperation teaches students who have a good command in other languages and are flexible to different cultures to deal with international affairs in multinational corporations and globally professional organizations. Also Entrepreneurship educates students as entrepreneurs to pioneer and expand their business areas based on women’s delicacy and a humanitarian way of thinking. The first 43 freshmen were admitted to study in the School of Global Service this year.
